Dr. Malik Qasim Raza
Dr. Malik Qasim Raza (MS CPPT (RIU) GOLD MEDAL, BSPT (RMC), DPT (PIMS), is a well known & experienced consultant of cardio pulmonary physical therapy in twin cities as well as pioneer of cardiopulmonary physical therapy in Punjab. He is a graduate from Rawalpindi Medical College and completed his MS in Cardio pulmonary physical therapy with an award of Gold medal. Currently, during the pandemic of COVID-19, he got certified in “ICU management of corona virus patients” from Harvard medical school UK and in “Tackling the novel corona virus” from London school of hygiene and tropical medicine. He also worked as rehab specialist and one of the frontiers to deal with COVID patients in respiratory crisis. He started his career from a special Education school (STL) than join care for special persons foundation (CSPF). After earth quack he joined some international NGOs & served the Nation for 02 years where he got wide experience of managing orthopedic & spinal injuries. Than he joined Armed Force Institute of Cardiology and National Institute of Heart Diseases & serve for more than 05 years. Thereafter Dr Qasim got an opportunity to join Rawalpindi institute of cardiology as Head of department & established first ever cardio pulmonary rehabilitation Center in Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, he also served Rawal Institute of Health sciences and Bahria International Hospital Islamabad. He has also served Riphah International University as an assistant professor. Currently he is serving as head of department of physiotherapy and cardiac rehabilitation at RIC from 07 years. RIC is the first government state of the art cardiac hospital of Pakistan where Dr Qasim has the credit of developing all phases of cardiac rehabilitation He has conducted several national and international workshops on cardio pulmonary physical therapy and has several scientific publications in national and international journals. He is also a member of American association of cardio vascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and American college of sports medicine.
He is also supervising cardiac rehabilitation services in Mediky Cardiac Center (Islamabad) & Mega heart center (Rawalpindi) with his expert team.

Dr Iqra Khalid (DPT, SZABMU/PIMS, Dip. ICU management of COVID PT (HMS-UK)
is one of the pioneers of HEALING HANDS. She is a graduate of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad. She started her training at HEALING HANDS while studying and after completion of her studies she pursued her career’s first opportunity at HEALING HANDS as a consultant Physiotherapist & rehabilitation manager. She is a skillful, experienced and renowned clinician in the field of physical therapy. Currently, during the pandemic of COVID-19, she got certified in “ICU management of corona virus patients” from Harvard medical school UK and in “Tackling the novel corona virus” from London school of hygiene and tropical medicine. She also worked to manage the COVID patients in respiratory crisis. In past she completed her 03 years of academic training from National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (NIRM) and also worked at Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
Clinical expertise: She has experienced hands on practitioner in dealing the patients with neuromuscular diseases, cardio vascular & pulmonary physical therapy, frozen shoulder, cervical pain and backache. She has excellent clinical hands in pain management, stress headache management, management of obesity. She has also good expertise in pain management of females during pregnancy & post-delivery, she also initiated gyne wellness program at HEALING HANDS in collaboration with gynecologist.
